Real Talk: Stop Hating on Your Friends’ Success

We’re supposed to encourage
people. That’s the job. Even if I’m broke and my thing isn’t working
yet, if my best friend is winning, I’m cheering him on—not getting
jealous, not saying “forget him.” Someone else’s success doesn’t take
away from yours; research shows that feeling genuinely happy for other
people’s wins boosts your own mental health, relationships, and
motivation.
I don’t care if their money helps me or not. All I care about is that
someone I know is making it in this crazy hard world. Celebrating others
is an abundance‑mindset move: success isn’t a pie that runs out, and
the more you support people around you, the stronger your community and
your own future chances become. If one of us makes it, we’re all better
off.
