Just Give Me the Steak (Not the Fancy Plate)

Ever since I went carnivore, form and function got way simpler. I don’t need
a big fancy plate with steak, mashed potatoes, vegetables and
decoration I’m not going to eat. In most restaurants, a lot of what’s on
the plate is there for presentation—chefs are literally trained to
build “art” on the plate so it looks beautiful, even if half of it is
garnish.
My son’s a chef, so I respect the craft… but I’m not there for the flowers
and drizzle. I’m there for the meat. Since going carnivore, I’d rather
they skip the unused sides and just double down my steak—keep it simple,
keep it real, and stop pretending I need bark, roots, and a rainbow of
veg to enjoy my meal. It’s not a caveman mentality; it’s just knowing
what you actually eat and asking for more of that instead of paying for decorations.
