About this video

Is the carnivore diet a nutritional miracle… or just another expensive
fad? In this video, I break down dairy, bacon, snacks, grocery costs,
and even kid food to show you what carnivore really looks like in real
life—on a budget, with a family, and with a brain that used to be
addicted to carbs. I talk about how dairy affects my insulin resistance
and kicks me out of ketosis, why I can crush a pound of bacon for
breakfast and still feel great, and why big food companies want you
hooked on goldfish, cookies, and boxed junk instead of real food.

I share how dairy personally hits me: it spikes my insulin resistance,
kicks me out of ketosis, and makes my body chase sugar again instead of
burning fat for fuel. When I stay away from heavy dairy, I hover around
225 and feel way better overall. When I lean into cleaner meats and
fats, my body stays in fat-burning mode and my energy and clarity stay
high.
We also talk bacon and salt. I crush a full pound of clean bacon for
breakfast because I’m an adult—and because it fits my way of eating. The
fats keep me full and the salt actually helps keep me hydrated when
it’s the right kind (like quality mineral or Celtic salt in water)
instead of the processed junk we were all warned about.
Then I react to junk food marketing—goldfish, juice boxes, cookies and “all
the food groups”—and how those commercials are designed to keep you
hooked, overweight, and constantly buying more. I shout out some of my
favorite carnivore influencers, grocery haul creators, and doctors, and
walk through why I don’t stress about always getting grass‑fed or
“gold‑plated” meat if the budget doesn’t allow it.
We dive into snacks on carnivore—like pulled pork with seasonings, clean
meat sticks, and dehydrated cheeses from places like Amazon—and how to
read labels so you avoid hidden sugars and carbs. I talk honestly about
prices in Canada, Costco being the promised land, how much cereal costs
now, and why my carnivore groceries are actually cheaper than my old
family‑of‑six grocery bills once you remove all the breads, pastas,
sauces, and extras.
If you’re wondering whether carnivore is too expensive, how to handle
dairy, or what realistic snacks and groceries look like, this video
gives you a raw, unscripted look at how I live it day to day—with kids, a
budget, and a mission to feel better.
